Thomas Edison

Edison is known for inventing the first electric light bulb.  But do you know how many times he failed?  Not only did he fail many times trying to invent the lightbulb, but many, many of his other inventions also completely flopped?  He had an amazing mindset, though, seeing his failures as learning opportunities rather than embarrassments.  

Various sources tell that Edison was described by his teachers as “too stupid to learn” and was later fired from his job for being non-productive.  Surprising for a man who is not infamous for his contribution to industry!
