Learning Chess Game

This has the rules for each piece on the actual piece.  It makes the game playable for kids and adults who do not know the rules!

Imagination Patterns

This is also a great activity for kids with spatial awareness challenges and planning deficits.  But, most kids enjoy making these patterns.  And, the way it is packages makes it easy to take with you.

Goldi Box

I would describe these as a combination of Tinker Toys and Legos.  Each set comes with instructions to build various structures or the child can just create their own ideas.  We have these in a plastic bin in the car and take them everywhere.  Look up the story behind their creation – it is really amazing.

Telestrations

An ageless game that will make everyone laugh.  This game combines the idea of playing Telephone with Pictionary.  Any and all ages can play and enjoy!

Quoridor

This is the ultimate power packed strategy game.  Once you learn how to play, it is fast, fun and wonderful brain work.  I have a foldable travel size game, but it is out of production.  They are still available on ebay.  There is a travel size available on Amazon, but it is different from mine.

Keva Structures

This has to be one of my favorite things!  It is nearly impossible not to start building and anything you build ends up turning in to a fete of engineering.

Headbanz

Again, all ages enjoy this, but I like it specifically for my kids who don’t necessary plan well because you have to follow the questioning to know what to ask next.  We have created scripts with a flow chart that have proven helpful!
