Ted Turner

Turner is known as a media tycoon, investment wizard, philanthropist and one of the world’s wealthiest people. Even with all of this success and fame, he was not without incredible struggles and numerous failures.

His struggles included the learning challenge of Dyslexia and the emotional and neurological challenge of Bi-Polar disorder. His father committed suicide after he and Ted’s first business deal almost went south. He was eventually fired from TBS, the broadcasting company he started and lost millions of dollars in personal wealth during the merger of Time Warner and AOL.
