The Beatles

Beatlemania shook the world of entertainment in the 1960’s.  They won a legendary 8 Grammy awards, produced 20 #1 Hits and 34 Top 10 songs.  But this kind of success does not come easily!  The Beatles practiced and played constantly in English pubs and for private gigs for over 2 years before auditioning for a Decca records deal.  Decca turned them down because, “we don’t like their sounds.  Guitar groups are on the way out.”  Oops Decca!  Next, Columbia Records rejected them as well.
