Herbs

I buy organic fresh herbs in as much bulk as possible (this makes it cheaper and saves time).  As soon as I have "chopping" time, I chop them up, put them in separate ziploc bags, label them with the herb's name and the date and then freeze them.  I suspect they do lose a little flavor, but they are way more flavorful than dried or the tubes of herbs and just as convenient.  This way, when I need herbs, I can just grab a handful and throw it in.

Herbs I have in the fridge

  • Organic chopped garlic cloves (sold in a jar and kept in the fridge)

Herbs I have in the pantry:

  • Garlic salt (powder)

  • Nice Organic salt (google organic salts to see why I buy these)

  • Ground black pepper
